Our Mission & How It All Started!

Dogs have been a part of both our families lives. It all started in 2020 we lost the life of the party, Carlos the Maltese. He was the most spunkiest dog you would ever have met. He showed both JoJo our sire and Loki the resident cat how to use the doggy door and helped potty train JoJo as well. Christmas of 2020 he passed over the rainbow, but forever will be a part of our hearts. The following month we lost our grandma Mimi whom was so I love with the Maltese breed she lavished her home with all things maltese. Fast forward a few months we adopted a female Morkie who was taken from her mother to early and was found to have a genetic diseases due to the breeders unethical breeding she was given with no food to ween off of or health screening from both her parents to understand what we could expect as she grew. Losing Our little Morkie whom we named Yoko was the final straw for me! I decided to ethically and professionally breed Morkies, with their health being my top priority to Establish a healthy strong foundation for the breed. Maltese hold a special place in our family since we wouldn’t be on this journey today if it wasn’t for Carlos the Maltese or mimi’s love for them. Yorkies have always been my favorite breed growing up and id like to continue the breed with the best health possible being driven to hunt since that’s what they was bred todo, & so that brings us to why I breed morkies to continue to help establish the Designer breed to be the strongest with the best of both breeds. We make sure to socialize and evaluate each pup to prepare them for the big world, giving them the foundation they need to overcome their fears and be the best companions for their new owners. All our dams & sires are DNA tested through Embark to be aware if any are carriers for any variants so that no two carriers are bred together. We test for Patella Luxation & eye OFA certifications for our Yorkshire Terriers, our Maltese parents are tested for Cardiac evaluation & patella Luxation OFA certifications. Lastly our Morkies are OFA tested for all Three Certifications. Once our puppies are born we give them their first round of shots and dewormers on us, prior to leaving our custody we bring them for a vet visit to obtain a certificate of health to ensure they leave in the best condition. You will receive all paper work of their immunization and certificate of health, Fi Nano microchip as well as a puppy packet with helpful information and goodies.
